As of late, I’ve been obsessed with Zen gardens and all things calming! Having a look at the designs online, I thought I’d give making one a go. After strolling through my fave shop, Bunnings, my inspiration was found and I managed to create a makeshift Zen garden in less than 30 minutes!
If you have toddlers or young child, this will be a treat but I warn you, it could get messy!
Nonetheless, it’s great sensory stimulation and calming for both young and old!
THH Difficulty Level:
What you’ll need:
– Glue gun and scissors
– Rocks and shells to decorate
Method:
- Gather all your items.
- Collect your wooden pieces and arrange to create zen garden tools. You can also use chopsticks, old pens or toothpicks.
- Once the tools are prepared, take the tray and empty the sand onto the tray.
- Once complete, you can use your Zen garden! Create and be calm!

Ooh nice idea! Great for smaller places too!
