THH Difficulty rating:
Tassels are perfect to accessorise the most simplest outfit and instead of rushing out and buying them, you can make them at home with thread you have lying around in a drawer.
What type of thread should I use?
Anything goes from cotton, silk to yarn but my personal favourite has to be hand embroidery thread (blue thread). It has a nice texture and is not too soft that it will fray or break too easily.
There are so many different ways to make tassels and this is just one option I found from Paging Supermom. You can also use a piece of cardboard or a fork to make small ones too.
You will need:
- a pair of scissors
- embroidery thread
